Many discuss TV shows and films, current and ancient – and that’s all they do. Particularly when I first started podcasting, it was fun to present a deep interpretation of leadership in The Closer and Betty White’s prolific career. 

Most episodes of my podcast reference a series or single episode, which are the work product of countless union workers to write, film and perform all the background work necessary to prepare a union actor to do their work. The industry is rocked by the union strikes of the Summer of ’23. Out of respect for the important issues being negotiated by the WGA (Writers Guild of America) and SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), episodes since July have focused on topics other than a series or specific episodes. This practice will continue until there’s a settlement for both SAG-AFTRA WGA unions.
