TV Podcasters Rescue My Summer!

TV podcasters rescued my summer after I returned home from Wisconsin with crutches. A bicycle fell on me, breaking my tibial plateau and fracturing my wrists. Fortunately, podcasting’s greatest gift has been the opportunity to meet people who share a love of TV. My late July pickle upended my production schedule, and it was hard to sit at a computer. So I was exuberant when the 80s TV Ladies agreed to record an episode together on short notice!

Getting to know Susan, Sharon and Melissa (not pictured) of 80s TV Ladies over the years has felt like finding sisters from a long-lost sorority. Our August conversation included guests they’ve interviewed, award nominations and hosting 6- time Emmy winner Tyne Daly in Susan’s Pasadena garage studio.

We also discussed the organic path that’s helped them define their mission over these past 2+ years. I share their excitement that so many talented people involved with great TV want to share their stories. Their connections and location lead them to incredible guests! Add their television show podcast to your listening app. I am incredibly grateful that my sister TV podcasters rescued my summer.

As a thank you, I sent them A LOT of chocolate.
